Tori shrugged, “A homework free day,” she responded.  She was bored, but that wasn’t really the reason she was in the kitchens.  She watched Jackson from her spot on a stool, in silence.  ”Where do you store it all?” she asked absentmindedly.

“Same here, but I’m already regretting it.” He admitted, placing down the containers as he chuckled slightly. His grin came across his face at her question. “Here.” He lifted up his shirt a little, pointing at his stomach. “And everything fits.” His smile only widened and he picked up a cake. “So it’s homework free day and you hide in the kitchen?” Jackson obviously wasn’t convinced about that. If it was him, he wouldn’t question it but it was Tori

“You’re regretting no homework?” she asked him with a cocked eyebrow.  tori couldn’t help but chuckle when he showed her his stomach.  ”You’re the envy of every girl in the world, Jacks, you can eat for days and none of it ever sticks around,” she teased lightly.  ”Yeah, what’s so wrong with that?”

As soon as the portrait opened and he spotted her, Jackson smiled widely. “Hello to you too, Badger.” He greeted her, walking into the kitchen. For a moment, he paused to look around. Instead of asking for anything, Jackson decided to check the fridge first. “Boring day?” He asked her with a raised eyebrow as he opened the fridge’s door. Placing his backpack on the floor, he bent down a little to look inside. A few pies from lunch. Some roast beef too. And oh…pumpkin cakes. He grinned as he took the cakes’ containers with both of his hands and turned around to look at her.

One less day. Jackson scrunched his eyebrows as he crossed out another day of his notebook. His time at Hogwarts was getting shorter and soon or later he would have to come back home. It wasn’t a good feeling at all. He swallowed hard, leaning his back against the tree as he looked over at the Black Lake. Truth to be told, it wasn’t nothing new to him but it wasn’t less harder either. A lot of students were probably missing their families and it wasn’t like Jackson was different. He was obviously missing her mother and her aunt’s innuendos and even his father’s silent conversations, but Jacks definitely didn’t miss his family tension moments. I can’t even bother. He thought to himself, standing up from his spot as he grabbed his black backpack and slung it over his shoulder, making his way back to the castle. It was still a little early for dinner, so maybe going to the kitchen for a little bit wasn’t a bad idea. An easy smile crossed his feature as he turned the corner and rushed downstairs toward the kitchen.

Tori was having mixed feelings as the end of school quickly approached.  While spending another summer going between her mother and father’s houses wasn’t appealing, she was ready for the school year to end.  With their strong start of the season, she had been sure they had the Quidditch Cup in the bag, but a few losses in a row paired with a ridiculously long and point heavy game for the Slytherin’s left them in third and she was ready to end the season, train her butt off all summer, and come back with a vengeance next year.  Since the match if she wasn’t in the library or her dorm, she was likely to be found in the kitchens.  She wasn’t always eating either, but it was nice to get away and although the house elves were around, she didn’t have to talk to other students, which was nice.  However she was not surprised when the portrait of fruit opened and she looked up to see her best friend walking in.  She gave him a small smile and a quiet, “Hey,” for greeting.

“Okay. Don’t run away.” He joked with a chuckle as he rushed upstairs. Only a couple of minutes after, Jackson came back to do the common room with his broom.

Tori was leaning against the wall by the boys dormitory stairs and pushed off when he came down, “Ready to fly?”
